Autism Impact Award
We have achieved the Autism Impact Award and are now Impact Award Champions. As an inclusive school, we strive to provide the best educational outcomes for all, whilst providing for the needs of all.
Wellbeing Ambassadors
Eden Primary School is a part of EA's Being Well, Doing Well programme. This year we have introduced our new Wellbeing Ambassadors within Key Stage 2. Chidren completed an application form and attended a short interview to discuss their ideas in promoting wellbeing. Our ambassadors will help promote wellbeing throughout each class with staff.
Take 5
Eden Primary School are taking part in the Take 5 programme.
Most of us have a sense of when we're feeling mentally and physically well, but now and then we could use a little extra support to stay that way. That’s where the Five Ways to Wellbeing come in — five easy steps you can weave into your daily routine. Think of them like your 'five a day' for feeling good.
Connect: Stay connected with those around you — family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours. These relationships are the foundation of your wellbeing, so make time to nurture them.
Be Active: Get moving in a way that feels good for you — walk, dance, garden, or play. Physical activity boosts your mood, so find something you enjoy and make it part of your routine.
Take Notice: Take a moment to pause and notice the world around you — what can you see, hear, feel, or smell? Finding beauty in everyday moments can lift your mood and help you feel more present.
Keep Learning: Try something new or pick up an old hobby — whether it’s cooking, fixing things, or learning a skill. Challenging yourself can be fun and boost your confidence.
Give: Do something kind — smile, say thanks, help out, or volunteer. Giving back and connecting with others can be deeply rewarding and help you feel part of something bigger.
